The Truth About Bed Bugs
There are many myths floating around regarding bed bugs. The biggest one is that bed bugs are the result of filth and unsanitary conditions. That notion is completely incorrect. The only thing a bed bug really cares about is finding a steady blood supply to feed on regularly.
Let’s debunk a few more common bed bug myths:
Myth: Bed Bugs Travel On Bodies
- Bed bugs can’t adhere to our skin or hair and our body heat is not their desired temperature. Bed bugs travel most often in luggage or bags out of sight and undetected
Myth: Bed Bugs Are Too Small To See
- Adult bed bugs are 1/4 inch long, which is large enough to be detected by the human eye. Bed bug nymphs are considerably smaller, but can nevertheless be found. You’re more likely to see signs of bed bugs, like reddish-brown spots, eggs, and molts rather than the bugs themselves because they keep hidden away in soft furnishings.
Our Bat Control Process
Over the last more than 15 years, we have acquired an extensive and growing wealth of pest knowledge. We have made it our business to know these pests, their strengths, and their weaknesses. We utilize the most effective methods of bed bug control, and our knowledge of them allows us to completely eradicate them from your home.
- Inspection - To begin, we will conduct a thorough inspection of your home looking for signs of bed bug activity. This isn’t limited to beds. Bed bugs are found in other soft furnishings as well, and we want to make sure we get every last one.
- Treatment - Once we have determined where the bed bugs are, we will treat them with a residual insecticide. This initial treatment takes about four hours to complete. We will also install bed bug covers on all mattresses and box springs.
- Follow-Up - We will conduct a follow-up two weeks later and inspect the areas treated as well as any other potential areas of activity to make sure the treatment has been effective. Additionally, we have included a six-month warranty that begins after the initial treatment.

"I recommend to anyone!"
Great service at a great price. Dave came out last summer, within an hour (he was in the area) and sprayed for bees. 48 hours later there wasn't a single bee to be found here and the price was incredible. We will be using him again if needed.

"Thanks Wells!"
We came up to the thumb for some camping at our family's property. We found a huge wasp nest in the pavilion. Called Wells and they came out right away and saved our Labor Day weekend!
